About the Role

We are seeking an Experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Swickard Auto Group. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with high-performance and electric vehicles, all while maintaining the exceptional standards set by Porsche. As an Experienced Automotive Service Technician remote, you will be part of a precision-driven service department that values technical mastery and craftsmanship.

What You'll Do

  • Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs to Porsche factory standards.
  • Handle complex drivability, electrical, and performance-related repairs.
  • Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs with precision and efficiency.
  • Conduct high-voltage system diagnostics and repairs on Porsche EV models, including the Taycan.
  • Execute detailed multi-point inspections with complete documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with service advisors to ensure clear communication and seamless handoffs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and brand-aligned work environment.
  • Adhere strictly to Porsche warranty, safety, and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Current Porsche Gold Certification or Porsche Silver Certification with readiness to complete Gold testing.
  • Completion of Porsche PTAP curriculum with current factory training status.
  • High-voltage EV certification and experience with Porsche Taycan preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic expertise in performance, electrical, and drivability systems.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years dealership experience, preferably with luxury or European brands.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Professional communication and team-first mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a high-performance service department.
  • Familiarity with Porsche diagnostic equipment and current PIWIS systems.
  • Strong parts processes knowledge to minimize downtime.
