About the Role

As an Enterprise Architect Intern - Remote, you will play a crucial role in ensuring data integrity and automation processes within our Enterprise Architecture Repository. This internship offers you the opportunity to work closely with the Enterprise Architecture Team at Velera Solutions, a premier payments credit union service organization. You will gain hands-on experience in the financial technology industry while collaborating with professionals in the field.

What You'll Do

• Own the data integrity and automation processes within the Enterprise Architecture Repository.
• Review approved Architecture Solutions and catalog details for future reference.
• Shadow current Enterprise Architects and assist with various projects to gain practical insights.
• Engage in hands-on programming experience using Python and R.
• Learn about Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and SAFe.
• Participate in project discovery and contribute to architecture documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance your analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understand AI and ML principles to apply them in architecture design.

Requirements

• Graduate student or Junior/Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a computer or engineering field.
• Willingness to learn coding in R and Python.
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks like TOGAF and SAFe is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team.
• Understanding of AI and ML principles is a plus.
• Experience with software architecture design is beneficial.

Nice to Have

• Previous internship experience in software development or architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
