What You'll Do

• Translate patent-related content from English into Finnish, focusing on biology and mechanics.
• Utilize the XTM CAT tool for translations and follow the translation process and CAT tool usage instructions.
• Communicate effectively and respond promptly in English to project-related queries.
• Work on projects with estimated volumes of 2,000-5,000 words.
• Ensure attention to detail and maintain the original meaning of the documents.
• Collaborate with a global team of translators and project managers.
• Provide immediate availability for translation tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Native fluency in Finnish is essential.
• A degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in patent document translation or editing.
• Proficiency in CAT tools, especially XTM, is a must.
• Good availability and quick response times are crucial for this role.
