Machine Operator (Roll Cutting) - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Machine Operator (Roll Cutting) remote to join our team at Speira. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing coils for processing, setting machine parameters, and changing tools as well as supporting processes. You will operate the machinery and monitor process parameters, intervening manually when deviations occur and documenting reasons for any failures. Quality checks of the products will also be part of your responsibilities. You will manage scrap disposal and ensure the cleanliness and inspection of your work area.

What You'll Do

• Prepare coils for processing and set machine parameters.
• Change tools and manage support processes effectively.
• Operate machinery and monitor process parameters.
• Document reasons for any process deviations and failures.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative product inspections.
• Manage scrap disposal and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

• Technical vocational training or a two-year qualification in machine and equipment operation.
• Ideally, a crane operator license.
• Proficient in computer skills and ideally some experience with ERP systems.
• Reliable and conscientious work ethic as a team player.
• Willingness to work in a 5-shift system.
