Early Years Support Assistant - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Support Assistant to join our team remotely. As an Early Years Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of young children within our Early Learning and Childcare establishments. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and their families.

What You'll Do

• Support the delivery of high-quality early learning experiences for children.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents/carers, and team members.
• Assist in the personal care of children, ensuring a respectful and positive experience.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to create a nurturing environment.
• Implement strategies to support children displaying distressed behaviors.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children in a professional capacity.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults.
• Willingness to obtain relevant qualifications such as NC in Early Education and Childcare at SCQF Level 6.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Commitment to the education, care, and welfare of children.

Nice to Have

• Experience in early childhood education settings.
• Knowledge of child development principles.
• First Aid certification.
