Distribution Process Analyst - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Distribution Process Analyst to join our team remotely. In this role, you will provide essential tactical support to the distribution planning manager and area transportation manager, focusing on optimizing resource planning and enhancing operational efficiency. Your contributions will directly impact Messer North America's distribution processes, making this a critical position within our organization.

What You'll Do

• Support bulk scheduling and dispatch planning activities across our merchant regions.
• Utilize resource demand planning models to forecast driver and equipment needs.
• Coordinate with regional transportation managers to ensure optimal driver availability and recruitment.
• Conduct thorough planning analysis to prepare for peak business demands, ensuring all resources are effectively utilized.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve operational effectiveness.
• Act as a liaison between various teams to resolve issues and enhance collaboration.
• Implement continuous improvement strategies to optimize scheduling and dispatch processes.
• Provide backup support for distribution planning managers as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, business, or data analysis preferred; high school diploma with 2 years of relevant experience accepted.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in demand planning, dispatch scheduling, or transportation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with team members.
• Proven adaptability and change orientation in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work weekends as needed to support operations.
