Director of Strategic Accounts - Remote
About the Role
We are seeking a talented Director of Strategic Accounts (DSA) to join our dynamic sales team at Tanium. This remote role will allow you to leverage your extensive experience in enterprise software sales to drive the adoption of the Tanium platform across assigned territories and accounts. As a DSA, you will articulate the value of our solutions to decision-makers, from CIOs to Red Team members, ensuring a superior customer experience while exceeding your sales quota.
What You'll Do
- Articulate the value of the Tanium platform to decision-makers and expertly manage the complex sales cycle.
- Nurture and develop relationships within assigned territories and accounts, presenting the value of the Tanium platform to C-suite executives.
- Collaborate with Partner and Marketing teams to define and support prospecting and sales efforts.
- Generate appropriate sales development activity to ensure healthy pipeline management.
- Accurately forecast and maintain excellent SFDC hygiene.
- Conduct online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads.
- Travel as needed to meet with clients and partners.
Requirements
- Significant enterprise software sales experience, generating and closing large and complex software transactions.
- A strong team mentality; selling is a team sport at Tanium.
- Proven track record of exceeding quota.
- Experience presenting to C-suite level contacts.
- Background in building and cultivating relationships with partner ecosystems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in cybersecurity or IT management solutions.
- Familiarity with AI-driven technologies.
- Previous experience in a remote work environment.
