Director of Quality - Defense Technology

About the Role

Anduril Industries is seeking a Director of Quality to join our team in the United States. This position is not remote, but it offers an exciting opportunity to lead quality initiatives in the defense technology sector. As a Director of Quality, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.

What You’ll Do

• Own all aspects of Quality for the Atlanta division to support the production of thousands of high-quality products per year.
• Lead and own supplier and manufacturing quality to improve yields and reliability across the product lifecycle.
• Manage the Quality Management System with a sustainable path to maintain AS9100 certification.
• Oversee the Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) program to ensure continuous improvement.
• Establish and implement a Zero Defects program in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, and Deployment Operations to execute success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a similar technical field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience working with OEM suppliers and manufacturing operations.
• 5+ years of experience in an AS9100 regulated environment.
• Proven record in strategy and execution of Quality Management Systems.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or quality within the aerospace/defense, automotive, or medical device fields.

Nice to Have

• Master’s degree in a technical field.
• Experience as an auditor for AS9100 or other ISO 9001-based QMS standards.
• Experience with low volume manufacturing.
