About the Role

Federato is hiring a full-time Director of Forward Deployed Engineering to lead our engineering teams in delivering innovative solutions. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the United States, providing flexibility while making a significant impact on our engineering practices and client engagements.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage the Forward Deployed Engineering team, ensuring high-quality delivery of engineering projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in software development and engineering methodologies.
• Mentor and develop engineering talent within the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a leadership role within engineering, preferably in a remote setting.
• Strong technical background in software development and engineering practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with clients and stakeholders effectively.
• Experience in project management and agile methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
