Digital Analytics & Tracking Consultant - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Digital Analytics & Tracking Consultant - Remote to join our innovative digital marketing agency. In this role, you will support our team and our eCommerce clients, particularly in the implementation and optimization of GA4 tracking, Tag Management (both client- and server-side GTM), and Consent Management Platforms (CMP), ideally in combination with Shopify.

What You'll Do

• Lead and implement advanced GA4 tracking setups, including GA4 Enhanced E-Commerce tracking.
• Develop and maintain GTM (client- and server-side) configurations.
• Ensure CMP integration is compliant with GDPR/DSGVO.
• Act as an analytics advisor to our German-speaking clients.
• Collaborate with our internal English-speaking Tech Support team.
• Support data integration with platforms like BigQuery and Looker Studio.
• Provide general technical support related to Digital Analytics and MarTech.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Digital Analytics.
• Expertise in GA4, GTM, and CMPs.
• Experience in a major Online Marketing Field.
• Experience with server-side GTM is essential.
• Basic understanding of GDPR/DSGVO.
• Familiarity with BigQuery, Looker Studio, and other Google Cloud tools.
• Basic JavaScript skills.
• Able to advise clients in German and communicate fluently in English.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of eCommerce platforms, especially Shopify.
• Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques.
