DevOps Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this remote DevOps Engineer role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security of our systems.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily operations of Linux systems, troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance.
  • Manage and optimize AWS cloud resources (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, etc.) to ensure system reliability.
  • Configure and optimize security services such as CDN, WAF, and DDoS protection to enhance application security.
  • Participate in the deployment and maintenance of Kubernetes/EKS clusters, ensuring stable service operations.
  • Assist development teams in building and maintaining CI/CD processes for efficient and compliant delivery.
  • Write automation scripts (Shell/Python/Golang) to enhance operational efficiency and security.
  • Establish and improve monitoring, alerting, logging, and security audit systems.
  • Respond quickly to security incidents or system failures, driving issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Linux operating systems and common operational tools.
  • Familiar with Kubernetes/EKS deployment and operations, with practical experience in containerized environments.
  • Experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3) and production environment management.
  • Knowledge of CDN and WAF configuration, tuning, and operations.
  • Basic scripting skills in Shell, Python, or Golang.
  • Familiarity with common DevOps toolchains (Git, Docker, Helm, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Strong communication skills, team collaboration spirit, and security awareness.
  • Good command of English for remote collaboration.
  • Experience in financial, cryptocurrency exchanges, or high-concurrency system operations is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Golang or Python development for security or operational tools.
  • Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO27001, SOC2) and enterprise security architecture design.
  • Knowledge of GitOps, zero-trust architecture, security automation, and SRE practices.
  • Experience in building protection systems (e.g., DDoS protection, WAF rule tuning, Bot protection).
