DevOps Engineer - Cyber Security SOC Enterprise Environment

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our high-performing cyber team in a remote capacity. This DevOps Engineer remote position involves supporting a large Security Operations Center (SOC) enterprise environment, where you will play a vital role in the design, deployment, and ongoing operations of critical DevSecOps infrastructure.

What You'll Do

  • Design, deploy, test, certify, operate, patch, and address interoperability issues for DevSecOps infrastructure tools.
  • Serve as the primary Operations and Maintenance workforce for multiple infrastructure tools.
  • Deploy and configure services utilizing an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provider.
  • Configure and manage Linux-based servers to support dynamic websites.
  • Debug cluster-based computing architectures and utilize scripting or programming skills to automate tasks.
  • Install and manage open-source monitoring tools to ensure system reliability.

Requirements

  • Top Secret clearance with the ability to sit for the CI Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA).
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps tasks and Linux-based environment administration.
  • Experience in testing, implementing, deploying, maintaining, and administering infrastructure for cybersecurity.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining computer applications or specialized utility programs for cybersecurity.

Nice to Have

  • Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) certification.
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Associate.
  • Experience integrating third-party components and automating operations and maintenance tasks.
  • Familiarity with Splunk, Oracle/SQL platforms, and Python programming.
