About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team remotely. This DevOps Engineer remote position focuses on working with Amadeus systems and VMware, ideal for those with a strong background in travel technology. As a DevOps Engineer, you will engage in infrastructure deployments and troubleshooting within Amadeus environments, contributing to a focused project with potential for ongoing collaboration.

What You'll Do

Manage infrastructure deployments and troubleshooting in Amadeus environments.
Utilize VMware for virtualization and setup tasks.
Implement CI/CD practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Work with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration.
Monitor and optimize system performance in travel tech environments.

Requirements

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on CI/CD and IaC.
Hands-on experience with Amadeus platforms (Altéa, reservation systems, etc.).
Solid VMware experience, including vSphere and NSX.
Ability to work in fast-paced travel/aviation tech environments.
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash).
