About the Role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team in building and maintaining AI-enabled battery software platforms. This DevOps Engineer remote position offers the opportunity to work fully remotely while contributing to innovative technology in the CleanTech industry.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, version, maintain, and document Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Build automated deployment processes to streamline code releases.
  • Create logging systems to store and visualize application and performance logs.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of our core platform and products.
  • Optimize costs, availability, and performance of our infrastructure.
  • Improve portability and scalability of our infrastructure and services.
  • Build tools to minimize errors and enhance customer experience.
  • Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues.
  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in a remote setting.
  • Familiarity with AWS Cloud services.
  • Experience with containerized services, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in Terraform and IaC methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Git and GitHub workflows.
  • Working knowledge of databases, both SQL and NoSQL.
  • A problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for this DevOps Engineer remote role.

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in developing applications for large companies.
  • Good knowledge of Python programming.
