About the Role
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team in building and maintaining AI-enabled battery software platforms. This DevOps Engineer remote position offers the opportunity to work fully remotely while contributing to innovative technology in the CleanTech industry.
What You'll Do
- Develop, version, maintain, and document Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Build automated deployment processes to streamline code releases.
- Create logging systems to store and visualize application and performance logs.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of our core platform and products.
- Optimize costs, availability, and performance of our infrastructure.
- Improve portability and scalability of our infrastructure and services.
- Build tools to minimize errors and enhance customer experience.
- Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues.
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
Requirements
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud services.
- Experience with containerized services, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Terraform and IaC methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of Git and GitHub workflows.
- Working knowledge of databases, both SQL and NoSQL.
- A problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit.
- Excellent communication skills are essential for this DevOps Engineer remote role.
