Desktop Senior Technical Analyst - Remote Support for Colorado

About the Role

We are seeking a Desktop Senior Technical Analyst remote to join the Governor's Office of Information Technology (OIT) in Colorado. This role is crucial in delivering top-notch IT services to support the State of Colorado, particularly in the Public Safety sector. As a Desktop Senior Technical Analyst remote, you will provide Tier II and III desktop support to a diverse user base, including state employees and contractors.

What You'll Do

• Provide resolution and assistance for current operating systems (Windows 10 and Windows 11).
• Deploy new or rebuilt computers based on OIT and agency security and operational policies.
• Manage enterprise configuration management tool platform installations.
• Support desktop, laptop, and tablet users, solving problems with Microsoft, Adobe, and other software in the production environment.
• Log service incidents into the ticketing system and assist other IT teams as needed.

Requirements

• Five (5) years of professional experience in desktop support or a related field.
• Experience in deploying and supporting Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical matters to non-technical personnel.
• Experience with SCCM is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Android OS and Apple iOS.
• Ability to troubleshoot network issues.
• Experience in a government or public sector environment.
