Design System Lead - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Design System Lead - Remote to join our innovative team. In this role, you will spearhead the development and implementation of scalable design systems that enhance user experience across our products. As a Design System Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our design approach, ensuring consistency and accessibility in all user interfaces.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design system strategy, focusing on creating a cohesive and scalable design framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and UX/UI designers to implement design systems effectively.
• Utilize tools such as Figma and Storybook to create and maintain UI components and design guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to accessibility standards and best practices in all design outputs.
• Drive innovation by integrating AI tools and modern design methodologies into the design process.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on design solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the design system.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in design systems, UI/UX design, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with front-end development technologies including HTML/CSS.
• Proven track record of leading design projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design concepts to stakeholders.
• Experience in product management and understanding of SaaS environments is a plus.
