About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Datacenter Technician to join our team in Ellendale, ND. This is an on-site position that offers a competitive hourly rate of $43, translating to an estimated annual salary of $89,280. As a Datacenter Technician remote, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining server hardware, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

What You'll Do

  • Provide troubleshooting and repair services for Dell products located at customer sites.
  • Execute plans of action as directed by Dell Support and document results, logs, and service reports.
  • Perform server testing and validation, including running diagnostics and capturing logs.
  • Manage parts locker and spare parts during server deployments.
  • Upgrade firmware and replace server components as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
  • 4-6 years of experience in a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with server hardware, including CPU, memory, and power supply replacements.
  • Familiarity with Linux and experience in server swaps and deployments.
  • Strong documentation skills and the ability to provide real-time updates.
