About the Role

We are hiring a Data Scientist to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As a Data Scientist working on federal missions, you will leverage your analytical skills to support critical decision-making processes. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

What You'll Do

  • Collect, clean, validate, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets to drive insights.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for federal stakeholders.
  • Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for mission teams.
  • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and government personnel to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with federal data security and governance standards.
  • Document methodologies, assumptions, and results per program requirements.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–5 years of experience in data analysis or data science.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R.
  • Strong SQL experience querying relational databases.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting federal, DoD, or civilian government programs.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques and predictive analytics.
  • Experience working with large or complex datasets.
  • Prior cleared or clearance-eligible program experience.
