About the Role
We are hiring a Data Scientist to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As a Data Scientist working on federal missions, you will leverage your analytical skills to support critical decision-making processes. What You'll Do
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets to drive insights.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for federal stakeholders.
- Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for mission teams.
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and government personnel to support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with federal data security and governance standards.
- Document methodologies, assumptions, and results per program requirements.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–5 years of experience in data analysis or data science.
- Proficiency in Python and/or R.
- Strong SQL experience querying relational databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting federal, DoD, or civilian government programs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or GCP).
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and predictive analytics.
- Experience working with large or complex datasets.
- Prior cleared or clearance-eligible program experience.
