Data Science Engineer Internship - Remote

About the Role

Join our mission as a Data Science Engineer Intern - Remote and enable patients to receive 10X more therapy time through our AI therapist. This role is designed for students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, providing you with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data science while contributing to meaningful healthcare solutions.

What You'll Do

• Identify, extract, and process data from relevant sources for model development.
• Research and select suitable image data sources for machine learning applications.
• Manage the end-to-end image data collection and preparation process.
• Analyze image datasets using machine learning models to validate data quality.
• Design prompt/query logic for LLM-driven automation of meta-labeling processes.
• Research methods to collect video data for machine learning training.
• Create audit-ready documentation to support compliance and internal audits.
• Validate and quality-check annotations to ensure consistency and adherence to internal guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with software and product teams to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Solid experience with Python programming.
• Exposure to machine learning, computer vision, or data pipelines.
• Comfortable working with shared codebases.
• Experience in data science or handling large datasets is a plus.
• Familiarity with clean coding principles is appreciated.
• A curious and creative mindset to explore innovative solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of data annotation tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
