About the Role

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer specializing in Denodo to join our team at Atturra. This Data Engineer - Denodo remote position offers a unique opportunity to work with our Data & Integration team, delivering innovative solutions to our clients. You will play a pivotal role in creating reusable virtualized data models that enhance finance and commercial reporting outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Build Denodo base views and derived views to support data integration.
  • Develop data models that accurately represent current business processes.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into efficient virtualized data models.
  • Source and integrate data from SAP ECC and other enterprise platforms.
  • Optimize performance of Denodo views and manage access configurations.
  • Contribute to backlog grooming and sprint delivery planning in agile squads.
  • Participate in peer reviews and enforce best practices in documentation and performance tuning.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and enhancements for existing Denodo solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience delivering solutions on the Denodo Platform (Denodo certification highly regarded).
  • Proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques.
  • Experience with version control systems and testing frameworks.
  • Proven track record of working in agile delivery environments.
  • Ability to produce clean, maintainable, and performance-optimized virtual data assets.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud integration solutions.
  • Familiarity with Boomi, Smartsheet, or OpenText.
  • Knowledge of data lineage and security best practices.
