About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Cyber Defense Analyst to join our team remotely. As a Cyber Defense Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our cybersecurity posture and supporting various operations at Raytheon Technologies. What You'll Do

  • Support strategic, operational, and technical capabilities in Cyber Threat Operations, Cyber Assurance, and Cyber Detection & Response.
  • Draft communications on behalf of the Cyber Defense Analyst team to various organizations.
  • Conduct research to facilitate technical solutions for cybersecurity incidents.
  • Act as a liaison between Cyber Defense operations and business units to address mission-critical activities.
  • Participate in incident response support and vulnerability management efforts.
  • Document and support process improvement initiatives to enhance integration between teams.

Requirements

  • Proven knowledge in cybersecurity and familiarity with industry tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience in incident response and vulnerability management.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as NIST and CMMC.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with tools like Splunk, Rapid7, and Service Now.
