Customer Service Representative - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We're hiring a Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team at CMC. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while providing exceptional service to our customers in the construction reinforcement industry. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in supporting our sales team and ensuring customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Engage with customers via telephone and face-to-face interactions, providing recommendations and price/job quotes.
- Assist in maintaining showroom displays and managing inventory levels.
- Track open sales orders and process tickets to the billing department while managing cash reports.
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions, performing additional duties as necessary.
- Prepare detailed sales orders and quotes, contributing to weekly sales reports.
- Communicate effectively with customers about our products and services.
- Perform rebar material takeoffs and understand the scope of work for accurate communication.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience preferred, with knowledge of construction-related products being a plus.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet browsers.
- Strong decision-making abilities and excellent customer service skills in both verbal and written communication.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and detail-oriented.
- Bilingual communication in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Must have a personal vehicle for occasional deliveries.
- High School Diploma or GED required.

Who Will Succeed Here
