Customer Service Assistant 1 - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Assistant 1 to join our team at the State of Ohio. This remote customer service assistant role will allow you to contribute to our mission of delivering excellent experiences to our customers every day. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our processes run smoothly and efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Receive and manage CoreSuite (CS) worklist from the Customer Care Team (CCT) to schedule requested exams.
- Follow up with physicians to ensure timely receipt of reports related to scheduled exams.
- Verify exam packets and ensure all requisite forms are included.
- Update scheduling windows by entering updated information related to exams.
- Generate and mail correspondence regarding scheduling and rescheduling of medical exams.
- Contact injured workers to confirm appointments and obtain exam availability.
- Generate reports as needed to support the exam scheduling process.
Requirements
- 3 months of training or experience in office practices and procedures.
- 1 course or 3 months of experience in public relations or customer service.
- 1 course or 3 months of experience in typing, keyboarding, data entry, or word processing.
- 1 course or 3 months of experience in operating a personal computer.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations.
Nice to Have
- Experience with BWC and Industrial Commission policies.
- Familiarity with claims management systems.
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations.
