About the Role
We are seeking a talented Computer Vision and Machine Learning Engineer - Remote to join our innovative team at pHera. As a pre-seed femtech startup, we are developing an ultra-precise colorimetric vaginal pH test that can be read using a cellphone camera and machine learning for accuracy. This role is pivotal in implementing computer vision algorithms and integrating machine learning models to deliver lab-quality diagnostic precision to women and doctors anytime, anywhere!
What You'll Do
- Implement computer vision algorithms for color detection from captured images.
- Integrate machine learning models for accurate pH prediction based on color detection.
- Ensure performance across different smartphone devices and lighting conditions.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to refine product features and enhance user experience.
- Conduct experiments and analyze data to improve algorithm accuracy.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning technologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in computer vision and machine learning, with a focus on image processing.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with libraries such as OpenCV and TensorFlow.
- Experience with mobile application development is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
