Compliance Associate - Remote Position at Rain

About the Role

We are seeking a Compliance Associate - Remote to join our team at Rain. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, including KYC/KYB and AML. As a Compliance Associate, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our organization while working in a flexible and supportive environment.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with the KYC/KYB and AML compliance officer to manage our comprehensive compliance program.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and financial service providers to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
• Analyze and evaluate company policies, procedures, products, and practices for compliance with applicable laws.
• Refine and actionalize KYB, KYC, and AML processes based on operational data and best practices.
• Oversee and implement all aspects of regulatory compliance programs, leading regulatory examinations.
• Contribute to risk management efforts by monitoring and analyzing customer and transaction data.
• Complete necessary forms for suspicious activity, including OFAC reports and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARS).
• Stay updated on compliance developments in relevant jurisdictions and refine compliance programs accordingly.

Requirements

• BA/BS required; advanced degree is a plus.
• 4+ years of compliance or related experience in banking, financial services, or fintech.
• Strong knowledge of global regulatory frameworks, including BSA/AML and OFAC/sanctions.
• Experience in transaction monitoring and fraud management.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills with strong analytical abilities.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

• International experience, particularly in the Caribbean and Latin America.
• Familiarity with HMT and UN screening lists.
• Experience in high-growth environments and B2B credit compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of international compliance and reporting frameworks.
• Experience deploying compliance tools and services.
