About the Role

Link Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Communications Team Lead to join our team at Patuxent River, MD. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional looking to advance their career in a dynamic environment. As a Communications Team Lead remote, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our communication systems and ensuring operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the design, configuration, administration, and sustainment of communication platforms to ensure 24x7x365 availability.
  • Manage system performance, monitoring, and troubleshooting for call routing, VoIP, SIP trunking, PRI lines, and digital display networks.
  • Ensure system security compliance with DoD STIGs, IAVAs, NMCI, and Cybersecurity directives.
  • Coordinate after-hours and weekend support for system upgrades, patches, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager and other technical leads to ensure integration of communication systems with ITSM tools and enterprise services.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, maintenance activities, and operational instructions.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).
  • At least ten (10+) years of experience with call center systems (Genesys/ACD) and digital signage administration.
  • Operating System environment certification (e.g., Win10, Win11, MS Server).
  • BA/BS in Computer Sciences or Information Technology, or related fields.

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures.
  • Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
  • A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
  • Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
