What You'll Do

• Perform complex medical coding using CPT and ICD10 coding systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate documentation and coding practices.
• Train staff on billing and coding practices to enhance overall team performance.
• Maintain compliance with coding guidelines and regulations to ensure the highest standards of accuracy.
• Conduct reconciliations to ensure all charges are captured and billed correctly.
• Provide feedback and resolve any coding issues that arise during the coding process.
• Meet productivity and quality standards set by the organization.
• Work remotely while residing in specific states, contributing to a patient-first healthcare organization.

Requirements

• Certification in health information management (RHIA, RHIT, CPC, or CCS) is required.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in medical coding.
• A minimum of 94% accuracy on coding tests is necessary.
• Preferred: Degree in Health Information Management.
• Preferred: Experience with physician coding.
