CNC Programmer - 5-Axis Machining (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team remotely. As a CNC Programmer specializing in 5-axis machining, you will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency throughout the product lifecycle. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the manufacturing sector.

What You'll Do

• Define and program strategies that meet geometric and functional tolerances for machining parts.
• Generate APTsource or Gcode for simulating programs.
• Document and create instruction sheets for machining operations.
• Store elements in the client's GPAO and DNC systems.
• Qualify compliance through testing on industrial machinery.
• Optimize and update existing programs to ensure performance efficiency.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support our aerospace industrial clients.
• Engage in various projects based on your interests and career aspirations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in programming 5-axis machines.
• Familiarity with CATIA V5R27 Manufacturing tools, including part-shape-product design and machining modules.
• Knowledge of SAP and/or tools like WinMerge, Tkdiff, or Examdiff is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Educational background: BAC +2 or higher, with a BTS or license in Production Engineering or equivalent.
• Technical knowledge in complex 3D aerospace parts and assembly issues.
• Experience with materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, inconel, and other alloys.
• Understanding of CNC language, primarily SIEMENS, with knowledge of NUM or specific alternatives being advantageous.
