Career Consultant - Remote Position for Career Transition

About the Role

We are seeking a Career Consultant - Remote to join our team at LHH. In this role, you will provide individualized support and strategies for candidates in transition, helping them identify career options and achieve successful outcomes. This could include transitioning to a new position, making a career shift, pursuing an entrepreneurial path, or preparing for active retirement. As a Career Consultant, you will play a vital role in guiding candidates through their career journeys.

What You'll Do

• Assist candidates with a broad spectrum of career transition needs, including managing change, assessing skills and interests, and defining career goals.
• Guide candidates in developing their resumes and LinkedIn profiles, preparing for interviews, negotiating offers, and assimilating into new jobs.
• Engage and motivate candidates to utilize LHH resources and technology tools effectively.
• Demonstrate expertise in current job-related technology, including LinkedIn, AI tools like ChatGPT, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Provide coaching expertise to help individuals navigate interviews and salary negotiations confidently.
• Manage time and priorities related to individual program deliverables and candidate activity reporting.
• Participate in customer projects and engage in LHH training and events as applicable.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in Career Consulting or related fields such as human resources, recruitment, or management consulting.
• Strong job market expertise to assist individuals in assessing their skills and identifying potential fits across various industries.
• Knowledge of Talent Acquisition strategies and experience with ATS systems.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology tools, including Zoom, Teams, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong service orientation and a passion for making a difference in individuals' careers.
• College degree preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience in diverse industries such as IT, financial services, healthcare, or hospitality.
• Additional language skills are a plus.
