About the Role

PACE Consulting Benefits & Pensions is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative - Remote to join our dynamic team. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving new business by booking qualified meetings for our Advisors. This is a high-activity, outbound role ideal for individuals who are goal-driven and eager to build a long-term sales career.

What You'll Do

  • Drive new business by making outbound calls to qualified prospects using leads provided by PACE.
  • Operate in an outbound environment, meeting daily call expectations and performance targets.
  • Generate interest, uncover decision-making criteria, and book qualified meetings for our Advisors.
  • Learn to identify key details about a prospect’s benefits landscape, including group size, renewal dates, and current carriers to strengthen the sales funnel.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers through strategic outreach and professional follow-ups.
  • Consistently achieve weekly activity and meeting benchmarks with the support of coaching and sales leadership.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pipeline and activity using our CRM system.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of sales experience with proven results.
  • Experience with outbound calling, prospecting, or appointment setting.
  • Comfortable with daily outbound calls and working toward performance metrics.
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • A self-starter who is organized, goal-driven, and coachable.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

  • Experience in a similar industry or role.
  • Familiarity with benefits and insurance products.
