About the Role

We are looking for an Adjunct Faculty - Nursing PhD - Remote to join our team at Covista, the parent organization of Walden University. This role offers a unique opportunity to teach and mentor doctoral students in a fully online PhD in Nursing program, allowing you to balance your professional commitments while making a significant impact in the lives of students worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Teach and mentor doctoral students in the Nursing PhD program, ensuring a high-quality educational experience.
• Utilize the Canvas learning management system to deliver engaging online courses.
• Participate in performance evaluations based on adherence to university standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching effectiveness.
• Contribute to the academic community through scholarly activities, including research and publications.

Requirements

• PhD in Nursing or a closely related discipline.
• Active, unrestricted RN license in the U.S.
• Experience teaching online in master's or doctoral programs.
• Experience serving on dissertation committees is preferred.
• Strong expertise in nursing theory, research methods, and education.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with students in an online environment.
