Business Development & Partnerships Manager - Remote
About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development & Partnerships Manager to join our team at GLMall. This remote position focuses on driving merchant acquisition and building strategic partnerships in the crypto marketplace. As a Business Development & Partnerships Manager, your primary goal will be to onboard real merchants and facilitate transactions through our innovative platform.
What You'll Do
- Lead merchant acquisition efforts by identifying, prospecting, and onboarding online merchants onto GLMall.
- Run outbound campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and direct outreach to engage potential merchants.
- Qualify merchants, manage conversations, and close pilot installations effectively.
- Own the merchant pipeline from first contact to live activation, ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
- Build partnerships with e-commerce agencies, Shopify-focused consultants, and merchant networks.
- Structure mutually beneficial referral or revenue-share partnerships to enhance merchant acquisition.
- Pitch GLMall’s value proposition clearly, emphasizing escrow services, chargeback resistance, and the benefits of crypto-native buyers.
- Track outreach, conversions, and merchant activation metrics to measure success and inform strategy.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or partnerships.
- Strong outbound skills with a proven ability to close deals or onboard partners.
- Comfortable operating in early-stage, fast-moving environments.
- Clear and confident communicator with merchants and partners.
- Good knowledge of AI tools and their application in business development.
Nice to Have
- Experience in fintech, crypto, SaaS, or e-commerce sectors.
- Existing relationships with agencies or merchant networks.
- Understanding of online payments or checkout systems.
- Startup or pre-raise experience.
