About the Role

We are seeking a talented and driven Business Development Manager - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in expanding our business within the humanitarian sector. What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive growth in the humanitarian sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including responding to UN RFPs and building capital partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of business strategies.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and support.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track leads, manage sales pipelines, and report on progress.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the international humanitarian landscape.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients and stakeholders.
  • Support the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and integration.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the humanitarian or international development sectors.
  • Strong understanding of proposal writing and experience with UN RFPs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Experience in B2B sales and client management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for humanitarian work and a commitment to making a positive impact.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in venture capital or private equity.
  • Familiarity with automotive insurance and F&I product sales.
  • Knowledge of process documentation and standard operating procedures.
