Bilingual Telephonic Case Manager (RN) - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Bilingual Telephonic Case Manager (RN) - Remote to join our dedicated team at EK Health Services. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in the world while making a significant impact on the lives of injured workers. As a Telephonic Case Manager, you will assess and coordinate medical care, ensuring that patients receive the appropriate treatment and support they need to expedite their return to work.

What You'll Do

• Conduct telephonic assessments for injured workers to determine their medical needs and coordinate care.
• Ensure compliance with Workers Compensation regulations and standards.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies.
• Maintain accurate and detailed case documentation in our electronic health record system.
• Provide education and support to patients regarding their treatment plans and recovery processes.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize your bilingual skills to assist Spanish-speaking patients effectively.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with a valid CA RN license.
• 3-5 years of clinical experience as a registered nurse.
• Experience in Workers Compensation Case Management is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
• High comfort level with computer programs and electronic health records.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Previous telephonic case management experience.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare regulations.
• Certification in case management (CCM) is a plus.
