Manager II, WW Planning - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Manager II, WW Planning - Remote to join our team at Samsara. In this role, you will lead the sustaining Demand Planning and Supply Planning teams responsible for creating and executing hardware forecasts across all of Samsara’s product lines globally. What You'll Do

• Lead the sustaining Demand and Supply Planning teams to ensure effective execution of planning processes.
• Collaborate with Product and NPI Planning to align forecasts with product launches.
• Own the global demand forecasting process and translate demand into executable supply plans.
• Run recurring forecast and supply reviews to ensure alignment across teams.
• Establish and own key planning KPIs to measure success and drive improvements.
• Drive process and systems improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Coach and develop a high-performing planning team to achieve their goals.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships to facilitate collaboration and project success.
• Scope and lead high-impact cross-functional projects that drive business value.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant analytical field.
• 8+ years of experience in forecasting and planning roles.
• Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
• Track record of cross-functional collaboration and teamwork.
• Demonstrated ability to design and improve planning processes.
• A growth mindset with curiosity about products and markets.

Nice to Have

• Experience with IoT or technology products.
• Familiarity with advanced forecasting tools and methodologies.
• Project management certification (PMP or similar).
