Bilingual Registered Dietitian - Remote Position
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual Registered Dietitian to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Bilingual Registered Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized nutrition and wellness services to our diverse clientele. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the USA while making a meaningful impact on patients' health.
What You'll Do
- Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients with chronic conditions via video, phone, email, and portal.
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Utilize Medically Tailored Meals as educational tools to enhance patient understanding.
- Leverage Remote Patient Monitoring data to optimize patient outcomes and ensure effective management of chronic conditions.
- Provide evidence-based lifestyle counseling and behavior change strategies to empower patients.
- Manage an independent caseload with scheduled telehealth appointments, ensuring timely and effective care.
- Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in mentorship sessions and access specialty training to enhance your professional development.
- Collaborate with peers through case consultations to share knowledge and improve patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential is required.
- Active state licensure in AL, FL, NC, NJ, NY, PA, or VA.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nutrition experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
- Experience with EMR systems is necessary.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients.
- Experience in chronic disease management is preferred.
- Certification in obesity and weight management is a plus.
- Patient-centered approach with cultural sensitivity.
