About the Role

Turnitin is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As an Account Manager for Strategic Accounts, you will play a pivotal role in driving our mission to enhance educational integrity and improve student outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of educational institutions, ensuring they maximize the value of our innovative solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with named accounts, focusing on C-level executives and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success Manager to execute territory plans and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Manage quarterly onsite business and roadmap reviews to align our services with client needs.
  • Coordinate complex renewal cycles involving multiple stakeholders to secure ongoing business.
  • Utilize Salesforce to maintain accurate opportunity information and track client interactions.
  • Support large, complex clients through a consultative discovery-based sales approach.
  • Travel as needed for onsite meetings to strengthen client relationships.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management or Customer Success, preferably in the education sector.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and other Account Management tools.
  • Experience using a consultative sales approach to understand and meet client needs.
  • Ability to support large clients and navigate complex organizational structures.
  • Willingness to travel for onsite meetings as required.
