About the Role
We're hiring an Associate Counsel - Remote to join our dynamic team at Fortitude Mining. In this role, you will provide legal support in various areas including corporate law, regulatory compliance, and digital assets. As an Associate Counsel, you will play a crucial role in navigating complex legal landscapes and ensuring our operations align with the latest regulations.
What You'll Do
- Provide legal advice on corporate governance and compliance matters.
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including technology and AI SaaS contracts.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support business objectives.
- Assist in mergers and acquisitions, ensuring all legal aspects are covered.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues and mitigate risks.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Texas.
- 3-5 years of experience in corporate law, preferably in a technology or digital assets environment.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and data privacy laws.
- Excellent negotiation and contract drafting skills.
