Assistant Reception Manager - Hospitality Industry
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Reception Manager to join our team at Novotel Suites Paris CDG Airport Villepinte. As an Assistant Reception Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service and hospitality. What You'll Do
- Assist the Reception Manager in managing and developing the reception team, ensuring excellent guest service.
- Organize daily reception operations, including managing arrivals and departures.
- Communicate effectively with guests, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with diplomacy.
- Utilize specific software tools, including FOLS and OPERA, for reservations and billing.
- Promote the hotel’s image and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
- Optimize revenue through upselling and fostering guest loyalty.
- Provide training and development for team members in both technical skills and service attitudes.
- Contribute ideas to enhance service quality and improve the guest experience.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in FOLS and OPERA software.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to train and develop team members effectively.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Good command of English and strong computer skills (Excel, Word).
- Educational background in Hospitality (CAP/BTS/DUT/Bac+2).
- At least 4 years of professional experience in the hospitality industry.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a managerial position within the hospitality sector.
- Knowledge of additional languages.
- Previous experience with customer service training.
