Group Compensation Specialist - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a Group Compensation Specialist to join our team at Valtech. As a Group Compensation Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and administration of compensation programs across multiple regions, ensuring consistency with global principles and contributing to maintaining pay equity and transparency.
What You'll Do
- Maintain salary ranges, job architecture alignment, and global compensation guidelines.
- Support annual cycles (merit, promotions, bonuses) and ensure accurate global compensation data.
- Ensure that Dayforce (internal ERP) is up to date with accurate and timely data.
- Conduct market benchmarking and pay equity analyses, recommending adjustments.
- Coordinate participation in compensation surveys and support transparency/compliance reporting.
- Prepare compensation insights for P&C and business leaders.
- Advise P&C, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders on compensation practices and internal equity.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of compensation experience, ideally with exposure to multiple regions or markets.
- Hands-on experience with salary range frameworks and compensation administration.
- Solid understanding of compensation principles and governance practices.
- Familiarity with pay equity concepts and awareness of transparency regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Ability to interpret market data and prepare clear reports.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across teams and cultures.
- Good English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking); Spanish language is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience in professional services, consulting, or technology-driven organizations.
- Exposure to compensation survey tools (e.g., Mercer, Radford).
- Understanding of global labor market trends and practices.
