Assistant Manager, Fund Accounting - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Fund Accounting to join our dynamic team remotely. In this role, you will be the primary technical expert responsible for ensuring excellence in complex fund accounting services. Your expertise will guide our team in delivering high-quality financial reports and compliance with regulatory standards.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the ultimate technical authority for complex accounting matters.
• Provide final review of sophisticated accounting deliverables.
• Drive technical excellence and innovation in accounting processes.
• Lead the development of technical standards and methodologies within the team.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to address queries and issues.
• Guide the technical development of team members through training and feedback.
• Function as the primary technical expert for client-specific information across the fund segment.

Requirements

• Accounting, finance, or business administration graduate with CPA license or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 years of overall experience, with 4 years in fund accounting or financial reporting.
• Proven track record of serving as a subject matter expert in technical accounting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Expertise in final review and sign-off of complex financial reports.
• Proficient in using advanced accounting systems.
• Experience in error reporting and compliance case management.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with innovative accounting technologies.
• Knowledge of ESG principles in finance.
• Familiarity with private equity and venture capital accounting.
