About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Staff Engineer - Voice AI & Agentic Systems to join our team remotely. In this role, you will lead high-impact Voice AI initiatives at an enterprise scale, focusing on cutting-edge AI and CCaaS problems that have a real-world impact on healthcare. As an AI Staff Engineer, you will collaborate with senior leaders across Product, Security, and Engineering to build systems that matter—used by customers and partners every day.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design and implementation of Voice AI systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients and partners.
  • Develop and optimize AI models and algorithms for natural language understanding (NLU) and speech-to-text (STT) applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing products and services.
  • Conduct research on the latest advancements in Voice AI and machine learning to drive innovation.
  • Ensure the security and reliability of AI systems through best practices in systems engineering and site reliability engineering.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in AI systems engineering, with a focus on Voice AI technologies.
  • Strong expertise in machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and large language models (LLMs).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Node.js.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of API architecture and infrastructure as code.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in healthcare technology or customer service applications.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and system administration.
  • Leadership experience in guiding teams through complex projects.
