About the Role

We are looking for a talented AI/ML Software Engineer to join our team at Circula, where you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of expense management through innovative AI solutions. This AI/ML Software Engineer remote position allows you to work flexibly while contributing to our mission of simplifying finance and payroll administration.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement scalable data and machine learning infrastructure to support our AI initiatives.
  • Develop high-impact AI models that address real-world accounting and finance challenges.
  • Architect a robust data platform, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for AI applications.
  • Fine-tune large language models (LLMs) and train machine learning models to achieve exceptional accuracy.
  • Establish observability and model management frameworks to maintain the performance and reliability of AI systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI features into our expense management platform.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering, specifically in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with building production-grade systems.
  • Solid understanding of system design principles and experience in developing scalable and reliable services.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS, with a focus on data engineering and distributed systems.
  • Experience with observability practices to ensure the stability and predictability of AI models.
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and adapt to rapidly changing technologies.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with modern data platform components and architecture.
  • Familiarity with AI tools that enhance workflow and productivity.
  • Previous experience in the FinTech industry.
