About the Role

We are seeking a talented Remote Narrative Proofreader to join our team at RR Donnelley. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and consistency of legal billing narratives, contributing to our commitment to excellence in legal services. What You'll Do

• Proofread complex legal billing narratives to ensure clarity and compliance.
• Review and edit billing entries for adherence to established guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with timekeepers and clients to gather necessary information.
• Ensure accuracy in all billing documents, maintaining confidentiality.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to a positive workplace culture.
• Utilize strong analytical and critical thinking skills to enhance the quality of our services.
• Familiarize yourself with legal terminology and processes to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in English, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of four years of billing experience in a law firm setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Attention to detail is crucial for success in this role.
• Experience with Aderant or Elite/Elite 3E is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships with law firm contributors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with legal terminology and processes.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
