We're hiring an Accountant - Intercompany remote to manage financial records, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with accounting principles.

What You'll Do

• Maintain updated and accurate automated or manual filing and data systems for quick reference.
• Fulfill reporting requirements for rebates and other ad hoc requests.
• Assist in the preparation of the consolidation of inter-company transactions.
• Process financial close, including scheduling nightly automated close processes in JD Edwards.
• Collaborate with the corporate accounting team on account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Compile, analyze, and calculate cost data while maintaining standard costs for purchased products.
• Record and review cost calculations with management to ensure consistency with selling prices.
• Reconcile and research excessive variance issues to determine causes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounting or equivalent education.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.

Nice to Have

• Experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP systems.
• Familiarity with budgeting processes.
• Knowledge of industry practices and standards.
