2nd Shift Picker - Onsite Role at California Faucets

About the Role

California Faucets is looking to bring on a talented 2nd Shift Picker. This role is based on-site in our Huntington Beach, CA facility. As a 2nd Shift Picker, you will work full-time from 2:15 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This position is critical to our operations and has a direct impact on the quality and quantity of products that California Faucets provides to its customers.

What You'll Do

  • Support filling customer orders by picking materials from inventory locations to assist in component finishing and product assembly.
  • Follow instructions and locate parts on Pick Tickets efficiently.
  • Notify the team leader of quality variances and parts shortages.
  • Transport orders to different staging areas using material handling equipment, such as push carts.
  • Scan tickets into the ERP computer system and maintain close communication with the Picking Lead and Inventory Control Specialists.
  • Keep picking aisles clean and organized at all times.
  • Assist other teams with picking and transactions of replacement parts when needed.
  • Perform additional assignments as directed by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate is required.
  • At least six months of experience performing similar work in a related field.
  • Must be adaptable and flexible when encountering problems.
  • Ability to communicate discrepancies to the team leader and implement solutions.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, dependability, and persistence are essential.
  • Ability to follow safety regulations and use personal protective equipment.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Physical ability to lift/carry 1-50 pounds when necessary.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Basic math skills for counting and measuring.
