Writer & Editor - B2B Technology Content (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Writer & Editor to join our team at LaunchSquad. This Writer & Editor remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to the storytelling of innovative B2B technology brands. You will collaborate with Editorial Directors and Account Leads to create high-quality content that drives growth and builds awareness.

What You'll Do

• Write and edit a variety of content formats including long-form articles, white papers, blog posts, and social media copy.
• Proofread and edit content for clarity, structure, and accuracy, ensuring high editorial standards.
• Conduct interviews with executives and subject-matter experts to develop compelling storylines.
• Manage and develop editorial calendars that align with client goals and integrated program strategies.
• Work directly with clients to understand their content needs and provide thoughtful editorial recommendations.
• Balance multiple projects across various accounts and industries, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver strategic communications programs.

Requirements

• 4-7+ years of experience in journalism, content marketing, or communications focused on B2B technology.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your writing and editing skills, particularly in storytelling.
• Experience in interviewing executives and translating complex technical information into accessible content.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with SEO optimization and digital content publishing.
• A flexible, team-oriented attitude.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with LinkedIn publishing and other social media platforms.
• Experience in creating content for technology sectors like cybersecurity, AI, and DevOps.
