Warehouse Supervisor - Logistics Management

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor remote to oversee our logistics operations at The Common Market. In this role, you will manage receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations while ensuring optimal operational policies and procedures are enforced. You will be responsible for maintaining the layout of the warehouse, ensuring efficient space utilization, and safeguarding warehouse operations through established security and safety protocols.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the receiving and warehousing of products, ensuring efficient distribution.
• Initiate and coordinate optimal operational policies and procedures related to warehouse management.
• Safeguard warehouse contents by establishing and monitoring security and safety procedures.
• Control inventory levels through physical counts and reconcile discrepancies with the database.
• Produce regular reports and statistics, including in/out status and dead stock reports.
• Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new layouts and inspecting equipment.
• Collaborate with Department Managers to address supply and product needs across departments.
• Provide attentive and friendly service to all internal and external customers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience managing goods or logistical operations.
• At least one (1) year of experience in a retail environment.
• Familiarity with natural foods is preferred.
• Computer proficiency, including familiarity with MS Office Suite and receiving systems.

Nice to Have

• Forklift Certification.
• Experience in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
