Warehouse Operator - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Operator to join our team at Crane Worldwide Logistics. This Warehouse Operator remote position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while ensuring the efficient handling of goods. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of safety and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Load, lash, and secure sea freight containers in compliance with regulations.
• Operate general warehouse material handling equipment (MHE) including counterbalance and reach forklifts.
• Conduct manual handling tasks while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Process material receipts, including quantity checks and net weight verification.
• Utilize the CWW warehouse management system (C2C) for RF scanning and inventory management.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Pick orders with 100% accuracy and check cargo for damages upon receipt.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or discrepancies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar warehouse role.
• Knowledge of aviation security and dangerous goods handling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 kilos.
• Certification to operate forklifts and reach trucks is preferred.

• Experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
