Warehouse Manager - Chemical Distribution (On-Site)

About the Role

We are looking for a Warehouse Manager - Chemical Distribution to lead and manage our operations at the Cusago site. This is a critical leadership role where you will oversee site performance, safety, compliance, and operational excellence. As a Warehouse Manager, you will ensure the highest standards of safety and quality while managing the warehousing of packed chemicals and bulk operations.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage all site operations focusing on warehousing of packed chemicals, including bulk storage, blending, filling, and production activities.
• Act as the employer’s delegate for safety and environmental matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Drive site performance by owning KPIs, cost control, budget planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Optimize stock levels and operational efficiency in collaboration with Supply Chain and Transport departments.
• Manage, develop, and coach the site team, fostering high engagement and performance.
• Represent the company during inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions.
• Oversee training plans, safety drills, and emergency response readiness.
• Drive improvements in quality, safety, environmental performance, and sustainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations or Logistics Management; preference for technical or scientific fields such as Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in site, plant, warehouse, or operations management within chemical or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of Italian safety, environmental, and SEVESO regulations is a plus.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams in complex operational environments.
• Experience with SAP and operational reporting tools.
• Fluent in Italian and proficient in English.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
